Cornborough ® Wedding and Banqueting Chairs
The Cornborough chair is a novice from Band’s pedigree stock: a new contemporary chair with a minimalist design, aptly named after an erstwhile racecourse on the romantic windswept cliffs in Lorna Doone country.
The Cornborough chair was designed by band International with two primary purposes in mind: as a simple designer chair and for comfort. Unlike other bentwood chairs in Band International’s range, which are built primarily for their looks, the overriding feature of this banquet chair is its simplicity. A party planner’s dream, this stackable chair does not detract from the theme of a party and instead allows for complete creative freedom.
Like other banquet chairs from Band International, the Cornborough chair seats 10 guests to a 5’ round table, is stackable to 10 high and easily transported between venue and storage. Its solid look gives a deceptively weighty appearance, however, at 3.5kg, this stacking chair is not much heavier than its siblings. This lightness is achieved through Band’s special production methods to give a hollow plywood back, whose polished grain enhances the attractive finish. The Cornborough chair takes the same seat pads as other bentwood models and looks good in a variety of colours.
Whilst the Cornborough chair will look good in any finish, whether it be chic black in a nightclub or a more traditional lighter wood stain at a corporate function, this banquet chair looks stunning in a medium walnut finish, topped off with virtually any colour seat pad.
